Servers and storage
ILS Networks designs, supplies and deploys enterprise servers and storage — Dell, HP and IBM Storage — including migrating the data off your existing environment.
Overview
Servers and storage are the hardest components to replace once they are in. A system chosen without looking at the virtualization platform, the backup system and the growth rate will work beautifully in year one and start dictating decisions in year two.
So we start from the real load and the systems that run on it, not from the spec sheet. The same logic applies to the migration: the move is planned around defined maintenance windows, with a way back at every stage.
What the service covers
Proof
Ariston Group
Migration of enterprise storage to IBM Storage 5300, as part of managing the entire IT estate over around six years.
CooperVision
Migration of enterprise storage to Dell PowerStore, alongside the full network infrastructure we designed and built on site.
Galmarine
Migration of enterprise storage to Dell PowerStore including the data move itself, as part of managing the whole estate.
The projects shown here are based on work delivered by the ILS team in customer environments.
FAQ
ILS Networks is an official partner of Dell Technologies and HP, and additionally designs and implements IBM storage systems. Projects delivered include migrating Ariston Group enterprise storage to IBM Storage 5300, and Dell PowerStore migrations at CooperVision and Galmarine.
Not by spec sheet, but by what runs on top of it: the virtualization platform, the real load profile, backup and DR targets, and growth over the next three years. A system chosen on paper IOPS without looking at those reaches its limit very quickly.
Yes. The migration is most of the work; the installation is not. We plan the move around defined maintenance windows with a way back at each stage — as in the Galmarine storage migration to Dell PowerStore, which included moving the data itself.
Not necessarily. Some organizations stay on-premise for performance or regulatory reasons, some move to cloud, and many end up hybrid. We design the compute layer around what the systems require, not around a direction decided in advance.
Storage, the virtualization platform and the backup system are one system. A decision about any one of them constrains the other two, so we design them together rather than as three separate projects.
Yes. ILS Networks is an Israeli IT infrastructure company operating since 2009, with 24/7 support, and an official partner of Dell Technologies and HP.

A short technical call with the team: what runs today, where the bottleneck is, and what an orderly migration takes — no commitment.
