WHAT THE SERVICE COVERS

We are the team that runs your infrastructure

ILS Networks takes responsibility for day-to-day IT operations: system monitoring, preventive maintenance, incident handling, structured changes, and up-to-date documentation of the infrastructure. The team is consistent and knows the estate in depth, so a call does not start from scratch every time.

That responsibility covers every layer rather than one field: servers and storage, virtualisation, networking and switching, security, backup and continuity, the workplace and telephony — including the platforms already running in your estate, even where they are not the ones we work with most.

The service fits organizations that want one professional party responsible for IT operations — whether complementing an in-house team or fully managing the environment — including enterprise VoIP telephony.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

What is included in managed IT services?

ILS Networks' managed IT service covers the ongoing operation of the enterprise computing environment: system monitoring, preventive maintenance, technical support for users and infrastructure, structured change management, and up-to-date infrastructure documentation. The scope is tailored to the organization — from complementing an in-house IT team to fully managing the environment.

Do you offer support?

Yes. Support comes from a team that already knows the environment, so a ticket does not start from scratch. The scope of support and the hours it is answered in are set in the service agreement with each organization.

Do you provide VoIP telephony?

Yes. We build and maintain enterprise telephony systems based on Asterisk and FreePBX — including system design, deployment, integration with the network infrastructure, and ongoing maintenance.

Do you document the infrastructure and manage changes?

Yes. Infrastructure documentation and change management are built into the service: every change to the environment is made in a structured, documented way, so the picture of the environment stays current — for us, for the organization, and for anyone who works with the environment in the future.

Do you serve organizations in Israel?

Yes. ILS Networks is an Israeli IT infrastructure company, serving organizations across Israel.

What do managed IT services include, and what does IT outsourcing mean here?

Managed IT services — IT outsourcing — means handing day-to-day operation of the computing estate to an external provider: monitoring, maintenance, updates, fault handling, change management and documentation. For some clients we manage the entire estate; for others we work alongside an existing in-house IT team, covering the layers they do not.

What is your response time, and what does the service agreement look like?

The scope of support and the hours it is answered in are defined in a service agreement per organization — around that organization's critical systems and operating hours. We do not publish blanket availability percentages or response times, because such a number means nothing without first defining what is measured. What we do commit to is that the response comes from a team that already knows the environment, rather than a desk seeing it for the first time.

What is the difference between managed services and calling someone out when something breaks?

Managed services are a standing arrangement rather than a call-out: the environment is monitored continuously, maintenance runs to a plan, and changes are documented — so most faults are handled before anyone in the organization notices them. In a break-fix model you pay only once something has broken, and you also pay for the time it takes an outsider to understand an environment they do not know.

Does this suit an organization that already has an IT person?

Yes, and that is a large part of the work. Often the in-house team handles users and day-to-day support while we cover the layers that need specialization — virtualization, networking, security, backup and projects. At Combe and at Prigat, for example, there is an IT manager in the organization and we work with them rather than instead of them.
