Ariston Group (Chromagen / Ariston)

A controlled VMware to Proxmox migration with a centralized security stack

ILS Networks guided Ariston Group through a controlled migration of its virtualization environment from VMware to Proxmox, alongside a Sophos-based security infrastructure and branch connectivity under a single, centrally managed policy.

A multi-site organization needing orderly infrastructure and unified security

Ariston Group operates across several sites and branches, and engaged ILS for two complementary goals: an orderly migration of its virtualization environment from VMware to Proxmox, and a security setup that is centrally managed across all locations.

The work was planned as a staged infrastructure change, so every phase runs in a controlled way with a rollback plan defined in advance.

01

Background

The organization wanted to move to a more flexible virtualization platform and, at the same time, unify the security policy of the head office and the branches under a single management, instead of separate solutions per site.

02

The solution

Virtualization: a controlled migration of workloads from VMware to Proxmox.

Information security: a Sophos-based infrastructure as the central protection layer.

Branch connectivity: sites connected using Sophos RED, so every branch operates under a single, centrally managed security policy.

03

Execution

The migration was carried out as a staged, planned infrastructure change, with a rollback plan for each phase to keep the process orderly and under control throughout.

ILS Networks has been building enterprise IT infrastructure in Israel since 2009, with 24/7 support.
